| Lakeland School Geography Bee winners announced Article Date: Sunday, February 17, 2008 Lakeland School students recently participated in the National Geographic Bee. Placing first was seventh grader Sarah Morrissette, center, who will now take a written test to qualify for the State Geo Bee to be held on April 4. Second place was awarded to fourth grader Adam Messinger, left, and third place went to fifth grader Lee Miller, at right. Lakeland School is a non-sectarian private school located at 40 Meredith Center Road in Meredith. In the giving spirit of the season, a group of Lakeland School students recently donated nine winter jackets and five pairs of ski pants to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Laconia.
